Player Safety
Player Safety
Player safety is of utmost importance, and we are committed to ensuring that all players, coaches and parents understand and support our approach. We organize a rugby specific first aid training, updated every two years, available for all coaches and those regularly involved in the club. It is also available to parents, so if you are interested in joining the next session, please let the admin desk know.
It is obligatory for ALL players playing full contact rugby, to use a gum shield/mouth guard. This helps both the player and his opponents, reducing the risk of damage to the teeth and of concussion.

‘Rugby head guards do not prevent concussion. In some individuals, they may increase risk taking behavior and thus actually increase the risk of head impacts’
